No to Wal-Mart/BJ's at the Terminal Market

After the City Planning hearing tomorrow, we'll be having a press conference where labor, business and community groups will demand that in addition to properly relocating the markets the Related Companies must not include a BJ's or Wal-Mart on the redeveloped Bronx Terminal Market site. We believe that the developer is using this project as a Trojan Horse in order to sneak in an unwanted, non-union box store. The conference will be at 12:00 noon outside City Planning on 22 Reade Street.
