"He wants to bend and break me," Stewart said. "Everything he's condemned the MTA for he now does to me."It will be interesting to see if stories like these, combined with the failed strike and prolonged absence of a contract, will lead to Toussaint’s ousting during the next union elections.

Toussaint just like the MTA
According to today’s NY Post, Transit Workers Union Vice President Ainsley Stewart is suing Roger Toussaint and Local 100 for illegally docking his pay more than $20,000. Stewart is one of Toussaint’s most vocal opponents and believes that this action is nothing more than retribution:
